Facebook's decision to offer its 900 million users a chance to vote on the social network's proposed changes to privacy policy will be higher than the electorate in India, the world's largest democracy.

Facebook's move to allow users cast vote to reflect their opinion on the site's old and newly proposed privacy policies would turn the website into the largest electorate in the world.

By way of contrast, India, which is known as the democracy with the highest population, has nearly 700 million registered voters. Members have until midnight on Thursday to vote for or against the planned changes, Sky News reports.
