I want to contribute to all sports: Sachin

"My focus will be on cricket and as and when I have the time I will look at the other issues as well, not only for cricket but other sports as well. I want to give something back to cricket in the latter half of my life. Whatever I am today is because of cricket."

Tendulkar tells Rajya Sabha TV. He also said, "Please do not begin rumours that I have quit cricket. When I do, I will make the announcement."

"I believe, there may be obstacles along the way (in Parliament) and I want my I fellow Parliamentarians to help me along the way.

I want to be remembered as someone who has contributed to all sports in India, not just cricket," he said.
