Aarushi-Hemraj murder hearing postponed to June 8

A local court here today deferred to June 8 the hearing of Aarushi-Hemraj murder case as the local bar association struck work after a lawyer's death here.

The court was slated to examine two prosecution witnesses, an electrcity department official and a forensic expert, but the same had to be deferred to June 8.

The court had ordered Aarushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar to be tried for alleged murder of the teenager and their domestic servant Hemraj on the intervening night of May 15-16, 2008.
