SRK to buy 50% stake in football league

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is likely to buy a 50 per cent stake in Dempo of Goa, the champions in India's football league, the I-League. Dempo club owner Shrinivas Dempo was quoted as saying talks were on with Shah Rukh.

If the actor does invest in football, the game will win a major ambassador which could do wonders for the game, feel fans. Shah Rukh's Indian Premier League team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, won the fifth edition of the T20 tournament recently.
