PMO launches fierce counter-attack at Team Anna

The 7-point rebuttal emphasizes that the government never intend to generate revenue for the allocation of coal blocs including that coal-bloc allocation was fair, just and equitable.

The statement further read that the government intend to achieve improved infrastructure including better power generation through allocation of coal bloc.

"The allocation of coal blocks was never looked upon as a potential source for generating revenue for the Central Government. The government was committed to developing infrastructure and industry," the PMO note said. The PMO issues statement saying the leaked CAG passage is an 'unfortunate' incident.
