Delhi bakes at season's hotest: 44.4C

Sizzling temperatures coupled with hot winds made life miserable for people in many parts of the country as two people succumbed to the extreme weather in
western Uttar Pradesh. Delhi recorded a maximum of 44.4 degrees celsius, four notches above normal and a minimum of 34.3 degrees, which is the highest this season. Two persons died due to the intense heat wave conditions prevailing in Western Uttar Pradesh.
