Jitendra Awhad of the Indian Pilots' Guild reacts to the report, saying pay parity was never the issue, reinstating sacked pilots remains one.

Ajit Singh says pilots have to join work, not talks before that.

Awhad says he is ready to resign if the sacked pilots are reinstate.

And the stalemate continues.

The strike has cost the debt-laden airline more than Rs 330 crore in revenues and is worsening an already difficult financial situation. Air India's losses stand at Rs 20,000 crore and it has a debt of over Rs 43,000 crore.
