Goodbye Pratibha Patil! Farewell ceremony in Parliament

It's President Pratibha Patil's last day in office today. She visits Parliament House amid fanfare with almost every MP present, in a ceremonial sendoff. Vice-president Hamid Ansari gives her a bouquet, while Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar garlands her and begins her farewell speech.

The ceremony is attended by the PM, Sonia Gandhi among others.
