Patels burn midnight oil for compromise formula

Our sources in Delhi tell us that the crisis in the UPA2 has blown over after NCP senior leader Praful Patel and Sonia Gandhi's political secretary Ahmed Patel worked out a peace formula. Apparently, both have been burning the midnight oil to bring about a solution to the crisis.

Sonia Gandhi said that she felt the absence of the articulate Pranab Mukherjee, always called upon as a troubleshooter. Sonia is believed to have also conveyed to Sharad Pawar the compulsions of the Congress.
