Guj HC rejects Sanjeev Bhatt's plea

The Gujarat high court on Friday rejected the plea of suspended IPS officer Sanjeev Bhatt to set asidecriminal procedure initiated against him in the 1990 custodialdeath case.

After the pronouncement of the order, Bhatt's advocateI H Syed requested for a stay on it for four weeks to enablehim to challenge it in the Supreme Court.
