US disbursed USD 2.8 bln in civilian aid to Pak

The United States has disbursed USD 2.8 billion in civilian assistance to Pakistan since the passage of the Kerry-Lugar Berman Bill in 2009, the State Department said today. 

"While figures for this fiscal are not yet available, since the passage of the Kerry-Lugar-Berman legislation in October 2009, the US government has disbursed USD 2.8 billion in civilian assistance, including approximately USD 1 billion in emergency humanitarian assistance," the State Department said in a statement.
