Mamata: Prez polls dividing UPA, NDA, Left

Mamata categorically states that the party is not supporting Pranab as an individual, but that it was a political decision.

The normally staid run-up to the Presidential polls has been nothing short of a cliff-hanger.

Mamata admits that she "hasn't spoken to Pranab-da in the last eight months." She also said that while the party's decision has been conveyed to the PM, the PM had asked her to support Pranab Mukherjee's candidature.
