Pak board pushed for resumption of ties

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had put forward three proposals to their Indian counterparts.The Pakistan Cricket Board has proposed that India can tour Pakistan, play them at a neutral venue or allow PCB to host their home series in India.PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf on Thursday said that they have put forward the proposal to hire two stadiums in India to host their home series against India.

Resumption of Indo-Pak bilateral cricket ties, which was severed after the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, received a shot in the arm after the foreign secretaries of both the countries expressed their willingness to have more sporting contacts between the two nations.

Cricketing ties were hit after the Mumbai attacks of November 2008.
