NCW member who named Guwahati victim sacked

National Commission for Women representative Alka Lamba, who had been sent to Guwahati to look into the molestation case, has been removed from the fact-finding team after she revealed the name of the victim.

Defending naming the victim Lamba said that the molestation case probe was not complete.

Lamba had travelled to Guwahati as part of a fact-finding committee and had named the victim during a press conference over the weekend.
