Jaswant: Honoured to be named vice-presidential candidate

Advani says that the BJP had wanted JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav to contest the Vice Presidential poll, but he was not keen as he did not want to retire from active politics. The Shiv Sena today announced that it would support the NDA nominee for the post of Vice President of India.

Jaswant Singh tells CNN IBN that he is "honoured at being named as the vice-presidential candidate."
