Gulberg case: Jaffri's lawyer can inspect report

Just in: A magistrate's court rejects the petition filed by activist Teesta Setalvad to inspect the SIT report on the Gulberg massacre during the Godhra riots.

The court has however allowed Zakia Jaffri's lawyer to inspect the SIT report for five days. The SIT has been told to file an affidavit which states whether it has not shared any document with Zakia Jaffri or the court.

A magistrate's court in June refused to allow Setalvad to inspect the original closure report of Special Investigation Team on behalf of petitioner Zakia Jafri on the ground that she was not a lawyer on record.
