PM has talked to JD-U chief Sharad Yadav but has not received any commitment on the party's support to Hamid Ansari.

Trinamool Congress has stated that it will soon take a decision on Hamid Ansari as the UPA's vice presidential nominee. The PM had called up TMC chief Mamata Banerjee to seek support for Ansari's candidature.
