Girl stolen from CST reunited with parents

In a happy reunion, the three-year-old baby girl, who was stolen from the CST railway station here last month, was today handed over to her parents by the railway magistrate court.

The court also remanded the accused, Raju, to police custody till July 18 after the police told the court that they want to trace the route by which Raju had taken the girl to Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

After the CST railway police got the remand of the accused, they produced the papers regarding handing over the custody of the child to her parents.

The baby girl was stolen from the Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus here on June 10 when she was sleeping with her parents and was traced in the holy town of Haridwar from where she has been rescued, police said.

On July 6, the Railway Police had released a photograph and CCTV footage to track down the culprit.
