Entire Opposition gives Shettar's swearing-in a miss

Jagadish Shettar's swearing in ceremony was marked by the absence of the entire opposition which decided to stay away from the ceromony. The 32 other MLAs who will be part of the cabinet will also be sworn in today. The ceremony took place at the Raj Bhavan and saw members of the BJP including former chief ministers -- Sadananda Gowda and B S Yeddyurappa. Both the former CMs were seated together, but did not speak with each other. The names of the two deputy chief ministers will be announced later in the day.
