Pak interior minister resigns from senate

The Dawn, Pakistan, reports that Pakistan's Interior minister Rehman Malik has resigned from his Senate membership. Speaking to media representatives, Malik said that he had tendered his resignation on Monday. Malik moreover said that he had renounced his British citizenship and that the dual nationality bill had not been proposed in order to facilitate him.
