Another Gurgaon kid falls into pt, rescued

A week after five-year-old Mahi's body was recovered from a borewell in Manesar near Gurgaon, there's been yet another incident in the township.

A two-year-old boy Sachin fell into a 15-feet pit dug for an electric pole. This time, however, the authorities were quick to react and he was rescued.

After Sachin fell into the open pit at around 6.30 pm on Sunday, a police control van reached the spot within 40 minutes, and by 8 pm, rescue operations were on in full swing with JCB machines. By 9.30 pm, three hours after he fell in, Sachin was pulled out with only minor injuries.
