Prime accused in Bengal's hooch tragedy in 14-day custody

Khonra Badshah alias Nur Islam Fakir, prime accused in one of the worst illicit liquor tragedies in West Bengal, was today produced in a local court in Canning which remanded him to 14 days' judicial custody.

Badshah was produced in the court of subdivisional judicial magistrate, Diamond Harbour, Mou Chatterjee who remanded him to judicial custody. 

Badshah had surrendered in the court of the SDJM on January 16 and had been remanded to CID custody.
