Delhi Cops say almost cracked the battered baby case

The Delhi police today claimed that it was close to cracking the case of a two-year-old battered baby admitted in AIIMS as it questioned a woman who got the child from her biological mother.

Investigators said they have identified a crucial link and a woman named Lakshmi is being questioned.

The baby, Falak, was admitted to AIIMS with severe injuries and is battling for life after a teenaged girl, who was looking after the former when her boyfriend left Falak with her, got the baby admitted.
