Rajasthan trounce TN, retain Ranji Trophy crown

Rajasthan have successfully defended their crown by winning the Ranji Trophy this year too, beating Tamil Nadu in the final at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai by virtue of the first innings lead.

Vineet Saxena was named man of the match for his knock of of 257 in the first innings.

Scores: Rajasthan 621 and 204-5 declared, Tamil Nadu 295 and 8-2.
