India's Universal Music ties up with Peninsula Studios

Universal Music India has entered into a strategic partnership with the Peninsula Studios of the United States.

The initiative is aimed at providing a platform for musicians from across the peninsula that will transcend boundaries of countries, languages and genres in South Asia.

"To discover and publish the undiscovered sounds from musicians from every nook and cranny of our country that is so rich in musical heritage, and to provide them with a recording and publishing platform that is on par with the best in the world is simply a first in India and makes this association one that we are terribly proud of," said Devraj Sanyal, MD, Universal Music, India.

The new project will try and unearth the talent in different corners of South Asia and showcase their talent.
