Serena Williams, five-time champion, crashed out of the Australian Open after losing 2-6, 3-6 to little-known Russian, Ekaterina Makarova ranked 56 in the world, today. If Serena's first set was a struggle, and did barely better in the second. With this upset, Makarova has made it to her first grand slam quarter-final.
