The only other time you've probably heard of Trinidad and Tobago is during the Commonwealth Games last year.

Well, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, an archipelago in the Carribean,  Kamla Persad-Bissessar, arrived in New Delhi today on a nine-day state visit to India aimed at boosting bilateral economic and diplomatic ties. Indias Telecom Minister for State Sachin Pilot welcomed Bissessar at the airport upon her arrival.

A high-level delegation of business leaders, entrepreneurs and ministers is accompanying Bissessar in her landmark visit. This is the first visit by a Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago in nearly 15 years.
