Mumbai, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu in Ranji Trophy semis

Mumbai, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu joined Haryana in the semi-finals of the Elite Division of the Ranji Trophy cricket tournment. All three teams entered the last fours stage by virtue of the first innings lead.

Mumbai beat Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu beat Maharashtra and Rajasthan, last year's surprise champions, beat Hyderabad. Haryana has beaten the favoured Karnataka by four wickets on Wednesday. The semi-finals start on January 10.
