SC: Ramdev, Delhi cops guilty in Ramlila crackdown

Just in: The Supreme Court has pulled up both Baba Ramdev and the Delhi police in the midnight crackdown at the Ramlila grounds on June 5, 2011. It's verdict in the case is as follows...

Ramdev has been held guilty of negligence, while the Delhi police has been told that the crackdown was unnecessary. The incident had left one follower, a lady called Rajbala, dead and many injured. The SC has also ordered the police to pay a Rs 5 lakh compensation to Rajbala.
