Ramdev says the court has proof that the police acted on the home minister's orders. He says the Delhi police edited the CCTV footage and showed it to the court.

Slamming the action by the Delhi police, Ramdev said no emergency justifies the crackdown at Ramlila and the government has in fact misued its powers and violated human rights.

Responding to the SC verdict that his negligence led to the crackdown, the yoga guru said he had told the crowd to maintain peace and he couldn't have done more.

Ram Jethmalani added that Chidambaram should step down.
