SC rejects Essar, Loop pleas for stay on summons

Just in: The Supreme Court rejects Essar and Loop's pleas for an interim stay of summons issued by the trial court hearing the 2G case. The SC today issued a notice to the CBI on Essar and Loop's pleas challenging the jurisdiction of a special CBI court to hear the case against them in 2G scam.

"We will quash the proceedings if we come to conclusion that special CBI court has no jurisdiction to hear the case," said the SC bench.
