Contempt case: Gilani files appeal against charges

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani filed an appeal in the Supreme Court today against the charges held against him in the contempt of court case. Gilani filed the appeal through his lawyer Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan who had earlier, after the last hearing of the case, told the media that he would advise the prime minister to file an appeal.
