7 school students arrested in Mumbai for beating up family

A movie outing for a family turned ugly when they had a heated argument with a group of school students, who allegedly thrashed them outside the theatre to avenge their ouster from the hall, resulting in eight arrests, the police said today.

A 30-year-old unemployed man and seven SSC students were arrested on charges of assault and rioting after they trapped and assaulted Sunny Vaiti (23), his brother Amol and father Lewis Vaiti before smashing the window panes of their vehicle near Lotus hotel in Dahisar last night, the police said.
