SC cancels 122 licences in 2G scam

The Supreme Court has cancelled all 122 2G licences issued after 2008 by the telecom ministry.

The apex court decided to scrap the 122 radiowave licences granted during the tenure of A Raja as telecom minister.

The Supreme Court is also scheduled to pronounce its judgment on the petitions seeking a direction for a probe into the alleged role of Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G spectrum scam today
