Imran Khan, religious parties, and the US

Is Pakistan's new great white hope, Imran Khan, catering to religious parties just to gain power? At least the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam's Samiul Haq faction thinks so. Its leader, Maulana Samiul Haq, said that Khan had been trying to put his Pakistan Tehreeq e Insaf on both the boats of religious groups and the United States. Those boats are on completely different and divergent paths, Haq said, and warned Khan that he would not be able to use religious groups for coming to power and have US support at the same time.
