Just in: A gang-rape protestor Pauline tells CNN IBN that constable Subhash Chand Tomar was not attacked by anyone. In fact, there were no protestors around the cop when he collapsed at Jantar Mantar. "We immediately went to help him and raised an alarm, but the police nearby simply stood and watched. The cop was not injured. He simply fell down, he collapsed," Pauline tells CNN IBN.

She is the second eye-witness to say that Tomar was not attacked, contrary to what the Delhi police have claimed that he died of injuries received from the protestors.

In fact, the Dr TS Sidhu, medical superintendent, Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, said earlier, "He died of cardio-pulmonary arrest at 6:40 am on Tuesday. He was brought to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest and was given CPR. Our bed-side investigations found no gross internal injuries or bleeding and externally also only few bruises on the chest."
