December 24, 2012  12:52
A correspondent from Delhi reports: The Prime Minister's Office on Monday refused to give time to AIADMK MPs to  submit a memorandum to the PM on the release of Cauvery River's water to Tamil Nadu.

The PMO conveyed to AIADMK MPs that Dr Manmohan Singh  was busy with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The PMO has kept mum on the issue since the apex court took it up; it had refused to give a hearing to the Karnataka chief minister too.

The AIADMK MPs had sought a meeting with Prime Minister  Manmohan Singh to submit a copy of the letter from TN Chief Minister Jayalalithaa about the release of Cauvery River water for the state.
