Even AIADMK MPs find it difficult to enter Parliament!

A correspondent from Delhi reports: AIADMK MPs on Monday garlanded the statue of party founder M G Ramachandran inside the Parliament House

On being deputed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, AIADMK MPs Dr V Maitreyan, OS Manian, Ilavarasan and Chinnasamy were unable to get inside the main gate of Parliament, despite producing their photo ID cards.

The security was so strict these MPs had to take a different route -- behind the President's palace -- to reach North Avenue so that they could enter the northern side of the Parliament premises.

The southern side of Parliament could not be used as it is just a few metres away from Vijay Chowk -- where protests against the gangrape incident were held on Sunday and Sunday.
