Delhi gangrape: Trial to begin from January 3

IBNLive reports: Coming under serious attack from raging protests in Delhi over the gangrape of a young woman, the government has set, according to the sources, January 3, 2013 as the date to begin the trial of the case that has taken the nation by a storm.

Sources in the Union Home Ministry have said that the case would be heard on a daily basis.

The sources added that more fast-track courts would be set up in Delhi and rapes cases in the national capital would now be heard on a daily basis. Modalities of the plan would be worked out by the Delhi High Court administration.
