Police allow protestors to gather at India Gate

The Delhi police has given permission to protestors to gather at India Gate. However, vehicles are not being allowed to enter, only protesters on foot can get in.

Earlier in the day the police at imposed Sec 144 (unlawful assembly) here.

As Section 144 has been removed there has been a sudden rise in the number of protestors.

The police had forcibly evacuated protestors from India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhvan and !0 Janpath.
