Sexual assault victims, kin slam cops for inaction

Police today faced flak from victims of sexual assault and their kin for their alleged inaction in such cases.

Some of the rape victims and their kin from Delhi and neighbouring areas gathered at the Jantar Mantar here to narrate the ordeal they faced and subsequent alleged inaction by police.

A woman from Narela, whose neighbour allegedly attempted rape on her four-year-old daughter, alleged that police refused to register a case when she approached them. Police today faced flak fromvictims of sexual assault and their kin for their alleged inaction in such cases.
