In Gujarat: Congress and allies lead by five seats, BJP by 3.
Congress gains in Sanand, Amreli, Rajkot (W). BJP holds in Junagadh, Sabarmati, Ellisbridge. Gains in Dholka.

In Himachal Pradesh: Congress and BJP neck and neck with one seat each.
