Chhattisgarh assembly suspends Cong, BSP MLAs

Opposition Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party legislators were suspended today after they trooped into the well of the Chhattisgarh state assembly to seek a debate on the admissibility of an adjournment motion on the allocation of coal blocks. 

They were suspended under rules that provide for automatic suspension of any MLA who enters the well of the house while proceedings are underway.
