BJP on Modi's win: Poll doesn't decide PM candidate

Outside the BJP office in Ahmedabad, celebrations have already begun. The BJP leads in 115 seats against the Congress' 64. And another win for the BJP with Saurabh Patel winning from Akota.

BJP chief Spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad on whether Modi will now head to Delhi: "Modi bhai has always been an important leader in the BJP... We are not a dynastic party which is led by a Yuvaraj [he means Rahul Gandhi}. We function in a pure democratic fashion."
