Jaya recommends 'people's justice' for rape accused

PM Dr Manmohan Singh has directed the Home Minister to ensure the culprits are brought to book and incidents are not repeated. "It's a heinous crime, it's very upsetting," said the PM in a statement on the Delhi rape.
Meanwhile, SP MP Jaya Bachchan recommends that the accused be lynched. She tells CNN IBN that the six rape accused should be let out on the streets and people should then take the law in their own hands and bring the men to justice. "Because the men broke the law," says the MP who broke down in Parliament yesterday while asking the government for an action plan to prevent such crimes from recurring.
