Army kills one LeT militant in Sopore

In an encounter with the Army, a militant of the Lashkar-e-Toiba was killed in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The encounter took place in the Saidpora locality of Sopore district where army and police personnel carried out a joint operation. Acting on a tip off, the security forces surrounded the militant hideout and soon a gunbattle ensued in which one of the militants is reportedly dead.
