On Friday morning, 27 people were killed in a shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Among the fatalities are 20 children, six adults, and the shooter.

Sandy Hook Elementary is secure and the alleged gunman is dead, Connecticut State Lt. Paul Vance told reporters at a press conference Friday afternoon. Authorities told CNN they recovered a Glock and SIG Sauer from the scene, and are checking the suspect's home for evidence.A spokesperson for Connecticut Gov.
