Obama speaks on school shootout

In brief remarks, President Barack Obama offered his deepest sympathy to the families in Newtown, Conn. He said we must "heal the broken-hearted and bind up their wounds. " 

"I know there's not a parent in America who doesn't feel the sameoverwhelming grief that I do."

"Beautiful little kids between the ages of five and ten years. They had their entire lives ahead of them. Birthdays, graduations,weddings, kids of their own.We're going to have to come together to take meaningful action toprevent tragedies like this," Obama said in his brief statement.
