US police foil plot to kill Justin Bieber

American detectives have foiled a plot to kidnap and kill teenage singing sensation Justin Bieber, reports Damien Pearse in the Guardian newspaper.

The plan also included castrating two other men with hedge clippers.

The police have charged two men and recovered a selection of tools, as well as a hand-drawn picture of the Canadian singer.

The reason behind the plot, hatched by Dana Martin, in jail for killing, was his obsession with Bieber. Martin was angry that the singer had failed to respond to his letters, Guardian reports here.
