Midnight's Children to release without any cuts in India

Deepa Mehta's film adaptation of Salman Rushdie's novel 'Midnight's Children' has been passed without any cuts by the Censor Boardof Film Certification (CBFC). The 62-year-old Indo-Canadian filmmaker's ambitious project, which is slated for a February release, has recently opened the ongoing 17th edition of International Film Festival of Kerala.
"India here we come-intact! Great news... Midnight's Children went through Indian Censor board today without one pic cut. Salman Rushdie and I thrilled," Mehta posted on Twitter.
